WA: Fashion guru turned greenie to lobby for premier s seat

PERTH, Jan 17 AAP - Award-winning fashion designer turned environmentalist Liz Davenport
is to bid for Premier Richard Court's seat in next month's West Australian election.

Ms Davenport is one of eight candidates being put up by the party popularly known as
Liberals for Forests, set up two years ago in response to community concerns about the
coalition government's logging policies.

Mr Court, who is treasurer as well as premier, holds the silvertail seat of Nedlands
